Project Description:
Blue Horizon is a condominium situated in the western part of Singapore at West Coast Crescent. The development consists of one 22-storey tower and four 23-storey towers. It comprises a total of 616 residential units and offers full condominium facilities.
The towers are concrete structures with dimensions in plan of approximately 4 m by 7 m. The design is based on a live load of 2 kN/m2. All the floors slabs are post-tensioned with cement grouted BBR CONA Flat tendons 405. The average slab thickness is 0.2 m.
Construction of the 5 towers were carried out in an overlapping manner. A typical cycle of about 14 days was achieved. The construction period for prestressing works was about 16 months.
