Products » Stay Cable - BBR DINA & BBR HiAm |
|
BBR has developed 4 stay systems for bridge and suspended roof applications. All of them are manufactured under strict quality controlled conditions either in a factory or on the construction site. Bundles of wires 7mm dia., strands 0.6" dia. or carbon fibres 5mm dia. are encased in a UV-resistant PE duct and provided with fatigue resistant anchorages at both ends. |
|
BBR DINA
which is a further development of the BBRV wire anchorages.
The wires, provided with BBRV button heads, are embedded in an epoxy
compound. The suggested maximum cable size is about 250 wires dia. 7mm
(approx. 16 MN ultimate capacity) and the fatigue resistance at 2 million
load cycles can be assumed to exceed 250 N/mm2. |
|
BBR HiAm
anchorages comprise a cylindrical steel socket with an
internal conical opening, where the wires or strands with BBRV button
heads are anchored in a filler material, which is essentially a mixture of
steel balls and warm cured epoxy resin. The socket transmits the anchor
forces by a lock nut or shims. The maximum capacity of BBR HiAm anchorages
lies in the range of 415 wires dia. 7mm, corresponding to approx. 27 MN.
The fatigue resistance reaches up to 250 N/mm2 at 2 million load
cycles. |
