The contract involves the construction of two non-process buildings, which form part of the Changi Water Reclamation Plant, which is the sewerage processing part of Singapore's new and advanced Deep Tunnel Sewer System.
The two buildings consist of an Electrical Building, which houses many of the electrical transformers and switchgears that provide the power transmission facilities to the entire plant, and a Maintenance and Operations Building, which houses the control centre, laboratory, auditorium, offices and maintenance workspaces to support the operations of the entire water reclamation plant.
The scope of the building contract includes constructing the reinforced concrete structure for both the industrial buildings and all the internal architectural fitting out works for the buildings, as well as all the required M&E building services.
