The BBR Group has recently re-focused on property development through its property development division consisting of SP Development Pte Ltd and SP Holland Hill Private Limited.
SP Development has embarked on developing, through a joint venture with Shing Kwan (Pte) Ltd, an up-market residential development at St. Martin's Drive located in the prestigious Nassim Hill area. This is a prime freehold property site located within walking distance of Orchard Road and the Botanic Gardens. The development, 8 Nassim Hill, will consist of 16 super luxury triplex units with basement car parks. Each unit will be of an average size of 4,000 sq ft spread over 3 stories and fitted with ultra high end finishes/fixtures and its own private gardens/balconies and pool.
SP Holland Hill purchased the former Holland Crest at 19 and 21 Holland Hill on 15 March 2007. This freehold site is located near Holland Village, Tanglin Village, The Botanic Gardens and the future Holland Village MRT station and will be developed into Lush on Holland Hill, a 12 storey luxury condominium with basement car parks, cascading water gardens, multi-tiered landscape and facilities. There will be a total of 56 units consisting of 2, 3, 4 bed-roomers and penthouses.
With the development of both the Nassim Hill and Holland Hill sites, we can offer potential buyers or investors seeking freehold properties in the exclusive District 10 area a choice of luxury residential units. Going forward, we intend to position ourselves as a boutique developer focusing on developing residential properties in prime locations. Our search for other sites with good re-development potential is ongoing for our future developments.
The construction business is still expected to generate a large portion of our revenue. We will position ourselves to compete in the domestic building and civil engineering market and pursue opportunities overseas. We are able to provide our clients locally as well as in the region with innovative structural engineering solutions by leveraging on our strengths:
- Expertise in high specification construction methods
- Swiss parentage
- Strong track record
- Established reputation
- Dynamic management team
We will continue to strengthen our existing engineering and construction capabilities while exploring opportunities to provide other engineering and construction services with good growth potential. On the regional front, BBR will continue to exploit opportunities in new markets so as to further expand our geographical presence. We will also intensify efforts to bid for both building and infrastructure projects in countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
